Students could "Read the Unknown" by taking a hidden book. Students that returned the book with a short book review received a prize.

This month, teachers read mysteries and learned about NetGalley.

We read fiction and nonfiction books with Mrs. Schultheis's class using flashlights.
Book Club Chat
The Late Bus Book Club had a Google Hangout with 5 other middle schools and the author of See You At Harry's, Jo Knowles.
Bias and Resource Evaluation with 7th grade
Students visited stations to practice evaluating resources and finding bias on the topic of euthanasia to correspond with reading The Giver.
Top Titles at Palmetto
The top titles are Fullmetal Alchemist, Wimpy Kid, The Running Dream, Tsubasa, Wonder, Wildlife, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Second Impact, Dragonball Z and Matched.
