Note from the Principal
Dear Valentine Hills Families,
As we wrap up another school year, I want to thank you for your trust, partnership, and support. Thank you for entrusting us with your children, for encouraging our amazing staff, and for being present every step of the way.
This year brought new faces, new experiences, and new growth. We welcomed many new students and families to Valentine Hills, and it’s been a joy to see our community continue to grow stronger and more connected. We’ve also enjoyed our new playground—a space that has brought much joy and energy to our students.
Our teachers rose to the challenge of keeping students engaged while preparing for new literacy mandates and the introduction of a new literacy resource for next year. Our support staff took on additional roles to ensure every student felt supported throughout their day. Students grew academically, and just as importantly, they supported each other socially and emotionally. Parents, guardians, and caregivers—you’ve been steady partners through it all.
A special thank you to our PTO and volunteers. Your time, energy, and generosity have made a lasting difference this year, from classroom help to community events.
To our fifth-grade students—we send you off with pride and best wishes as you begin your middle school journey. To the families and staff leaving Valentine Hills, thank you for the impact you’ve made. You will be missed, and we wish you continued success and happiness.
As we head into summer, I wish all our students, families, and staff a safe, restful, and meaningful break. May it be filled with time to recharge, connect, and enjoy the people and places you love.

VH Staff for 25-26 School Year
Most of our staffing at VH will look similar to this year. As changes/updates occur, please refer to our school directory for any staff changes. This directory is updated throughout the summer.
Things can change and we don't want to disappoint anyone.
Back to School Communication
The School will start sending weekly updates starting in August. This will include reminders to register for transportation and educational benefits, more details on teacher assignments, how to sign up for Goal Setting meetings, etc.

Still Need a Yearbook?
If you forgot to get a yearbook, you can order one on-line by using this link.
Bus Registration 25-26
If your child is entering kindergarten through 12th grade next year and will be a bus rider, you should have received an email about busing for the 2025-26 school year. Please read the email(s) carefully, as you will receive a personalized email for each student in your family with specific instructions. Detailed instructions for registration are also available at mvpschools.org/transportation.
If you did not receive an email (check your spam folder) or have any questions, contact the Transportation Department at 651-621-6027 or transportation@mvpschools.org. Students receiving special education services or those enrolled in Early Childhood programs will receive busing information at a later date.
Volunteer Background Checks
The district has changed our process for background checks for volunteers. We will be doing them every year starting this fall. Add this to your TO DO list for your back-to-school prep. The documents are here. We need those documents plus a copy of your driver's license every year. We won't be accepting new background checks until after August 1.
