Trojan Buddies Community Day

Our Trojan Buddies held their Third Annual Trojan Buddies Community Day. This year we had 90 student-athletes who participated in the 100-meter dash with a medal ceremony following every 2 heats of running. There were also teacher competitions, cheer, and drumline events in between 100-meter dash heats.

Field Trip to Oakes Museum

First Grade students visited to the Oakes Museum at Messiah College. They learned about North American and African animals, how to identify animals by their skulls (eyes, teeth and jaw bones) and made a habitat for a worm in a bottle. The students learned about the water cycle and what is needed for animal survival.

Elementary School Building Project Update 🏫

What's Happening?

We are continuing with our design team work. The focus has been on classroom layouts and how to effectively use space. We have received a draft of the site survey and will continue to have an in-depth discussion about the findings in May. On Monday, April 22, the School Board of Directors approved to have an appraisal done on the Granada Building.

What's Next?

After we receive the appraisal of the Granada property, we will continue to explore our options for the building. Anthony Colestock from Crabtree, Rohrbaugh, and Associates will present at May's General Services committee meeting and the Board Meeting on June .
