Polar Plunge

Be sure to sign up on the interest form below if you would like to be part of our Polar Plunge Team. We'll be sending out information very soon on how to officially sign on. Polar Plunge is the primary method our Westside Unified Activities program uses to raise funds to help support our activities throughout the year. If you are 16 or older and up for it, we'd love to have you join us to plunge. If you'd prefer to stay warm, we hope you'll consider a donation or come cheer on our "plungers" at this year's event on February 8th. More to come!

Be sure to check back soon for details about our February Unified Activity - Bowling! We'll be sharing specific dates and times and a sign up so that friends can meet up for this fun inclusion opportunity!

The Special Olympics Unified Schools Program is a fast-growing initiative that brings students with and without intellectual disabilities together.

As Unified Champion Schools, we partner with Special Olympics Nebraska to implement a three-component strategy focused on Inclusive Sports, Inclusive Youth Leadership, and Whole-School Engagement. These three components bring students with and without intellectual disabilities together to promote a positive school climate, develop physical fitness, prevent bullying, enhance student engagement, and promote student leadership skills.
