Panorama Survey for Students
(See other translated letters below.)
Dear Perry Township Schools Parents and Families,
Perry Township Schools (PTS) remains committed to the academic, social and emotional growth of all of our students. We are happy to announce that we will be utilizing a survey through Panorama Education to capture student voice and allow students to express their perspectives about self management, social awareness and their well-being.
The survey results will help PTS teachers, administrators and counselors gauge student growth and
understanding around social and emotional competencies, which contribute to academic success and increase engagement in the classroom.
Our students in grades K-2 will be answering the Panorama survey with the help of a classroom teacher, and our students in grades 3-8 will answer questions on their own. All survey responses will take place at school. The survey will take about 20 minutes of their classroom time and provide our district with valuable information that will help us better meet the needs of our students.
We anticipate that we will begin survey administration on September 9th. We will likely have all surveys completed by September 20, 2024. If a parent or guardian chooses to not have their child participate in the anonymous survey, they must contact their school office by September 4th. Please call Ms. Stacy O’Brien, SA Principal, at 317-789-1411, or contact her at sobrien@perryschools.org to opt out of the survey.
If you would like to learn more about the Panorama survey, including the full set of questions that your child will be asked, please use this link.
Thank you for your continued support of our Perry Township Schools.
Sincerely,
Jon Romine
