Weekly Wave
We ARE Summit Sharks!

Message from the Principal
Dear Sharks,
This week, all students will take the third and final iReady diagnostic assessment. This important test, which will be given in their homeroom and switch classes for both English language arts and math, helps measure their progress since the beginning of the school year. The results will guide teachers in supporting students and adjusting lessons to ensure they are on track before the year ends.
Please encourage your child to put forth their best effort each day—we appreciate your support in helping them do their best!
Additionally, as I mentioned in last week's Weekly Wave, construction of our new two-story building—replacing the old M-Wing classrooms—will begin during Spring Break. Later this week, I will be sharing an updated drop-off and pick-up map along with directions, as construction will temporarily reduce one lane of our current bus lane.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work toward providing our students with a modernized learning space. Please take a moment to review the updated map when it is sent, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
As always, we deeply value and appreciate your partnership in supporting our students and school!
Kindy,
Mrs. Kelley

Shark Shack Donations Appreciated
As we continue to support our students' learning and growth, we are reaching out to request your help in providing fun reward items for the Shark Shack (our PBIS Store) that will help contribute to a positive and motivating environment for our middle schoolers. We are asking for donations of high interest items which can be found on our PBIS Amazon Wishlist. Please scan the QR code or click on the link below for the wishlist if you are interested and able to make donations.
These rewards help keep our students engaged and excited to participate in classroom learning. Any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated! If you're able to donate, please drop them off at the front office or you can have them shipped directly to the school at 5959 East Ave., Etiwanda 91739.
Thank you for your continued support in making this year a great success!
