In an effort to create life-long learners, the staff at Westridge Elementary School, working closely with parents and community, strives to realize each child's fullest potential in the areas of personal, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical development.

Dear Westridge Families,

We are excited to share that our school district will be hosting a visit from the Nebraska Framework team from November 12th to 14th. This five-year accreditation visit is a routine process that helps us evaluate our school's programs and practices.

The team will be reviewing various aspects of our school, including curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school climate. They will be observing classrooms, interviewing staff, students, parents and reviewing documents. Their feedback will help us identify areas of strength and areas for improvement. Your child's education is our top priority, and we are committed to providing the highest quality instruction and support. This process allows us to identify ways to continue to provide the your with an excellent educational experience.

Just a quick reminder that our next PTO meeting will be on November 12th. We are moving it off our regular meeting schedule due to the presidential election. We hope that everyone will be able to join us on the 12th at 6:30 in the Westridge library. Also, there will be no PTO meeting in December.

Hello Westridge Families, just a reminder there will be no PTO meeting on Tuesday, November 5th due to the election. We will hold our meeting on Tuesday, November 12th at 6:30 in the library. Childcare will be available.

This week the students got to celebrate their walkathon accomplishments by having special dress up days and watching the winning teachers get sprayed with silly string at our celebration assembly. Thank you again for all of your support and participation in the 2024 Westridge Walkathon!

Thankful Thursdays are back! This initiative allows us to show our appreciation for our amazing staff. We aim to provide each team member with a $5 gift card and some tasty goodies. Your donations are appreciated! Click here to sign up.
