INTRUDER DETECTED!
The Texas Education Agency along with regional education service centers have been tasked with auditing each school district in the state of Texas. These audits measure the accessibility of our campuses to outside intruders by focusing on secured exterior doors, gates, and faculty/staff actively monitoring the campuses. These audits are unannounced and can happen during any part of the day.
In the month of November and December, PISD High School and PISD Elementary were audited, which resulted in passing grades with no findings and praise from the auditor for being very clean and secure campuses. Thank you to the faculty, staff, and administration of both campuses for their continued efforts in keeping our PISD community safe. We also would like to thank our PISD Police Department for their continued door sweeps and patrols on each of our campuses!
Congratulations, PHS and PES!!!
Pride, Pride...
It's that time of year again...
The DADS are making a list and checking it twice! If you have seen Santa or The Grinch floating around your campuses please notify the district as we have been experiencing an uptick in holiday spirit!
If you are interested in becoming a DAD ON DUTY please contact Safety and Security Coordinator, Michael Gilbert, mpgilbert@pisd.us
LEADING WITH PROMISE'S AND PRIDE!
PISD is dedicated to providing our students a safe climate to learn and grow to become effective members in their communities and leaders among their peers. PISD offers three programs to assist with this initiative. All programs provide an evidence based curriculum along with community service projects, team building exercises, and social emotional learning.

Merry Christmas!
The Pleasanton ISD Police Department is sending warm wishes for a safe and happy holiday and new year. Throughout the district Pleasanton ISD Police Department was able to enjoy several holiday events including multiple concerts, jingle run, cookies with Santa, and a Play. While students and staff will be away enjoying time off spending time with their families, one thing I wanted to touch on is being a responsible firearm owner. Secure storage is the #1 way to help prevent firearm accidents, thefts, and misuse. Pleasanton ISD Police Department has partnered up with Project Child Safe to provide free gunlocks. If you are in need of a free gunlock, please Contact the Pleasanton ISD Police Department at 830-569-1267 or come to the Police Department. If you see an Officer campus simply wave them down and we will be able to assist you.
