Stay Informed for 20/21 School Year
The District is working to develop a plan to safely welcome students and staff back to school in the fall. At this time, the first day of school for the 2019-2020 school year is Tuesday, September 8, 2020. More information will be published throughout the summer and in the Back-to-School Information in early August.
Please check your email regularly, watch the District website and follow us on social media to stay informed!
The Oregon Department of Education has released its guidance for the next school year “Ready Schools, Safe Learners.” The Beaverton School District just received this guidance last Wednesday. We will review it and incorporate it into our plans for the 2020-21 school year. We will share our progress with our community along the way, including opportunities to share feedback and ask questions.
Welcome incoming 6th Graders!
Please check out our Whitford web page. We have lots of information that will answer most of your questions. We can't wait to meet you in the Fall!

Farewell to our AWESOME 8th Graders!
When it came time to say goodbye to our 8th grade students we were "bubbling over" with mixed emotions. This year has been a year of firsts and learning to be flexible. 8th grade students came in decorated cars hoping for a chance to see their teachers one more time this school year. High school Principals were on hand to meet their new students.
Principal Peerenboom was there to show off his Aloha spirit and his newly shaved mutton chops. (Whitford students competed to decide how Principal Peerenboom would shave his beard. As you can see, mutton chops was the winner.)
8th graders you will be missed.
