The end of the school year is here! Please join us virtually on Wednesday to watch the 2024 Commencement. This will be an Asynchronous School Day for Grades 9-11, and our building will be closed. We are extraordinarily proud of the Class of 2024, and we look forward to a joyful commemoration in their honor.
To our rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores, we'll have our final Class, Family, and Town Meetings this week before we say goodbye for the summer. Make sure you've cleaned out your lockers, turned in your chromebook/chargers/pouches, and checked the Lost and Found. Final report cards will be mailed out next week.
Families of graduates: please refer to the
VUU Campus Map. (The address on the tickets, 1813-1899 Bath St, is also correct.) Directional signs should be in place to support movement from parking to the venue, but please give yourself additional time to park at one of these locations:
- In front of the Living and Learning Center (Take Admiral St. and go through campus.)
- Behind the Living and Learning Center (Take Brook Rd, make a left on Graham Rd, enter gates, walk to the front of the building.)
- On Lombardy St (Walk across campus.)
All graduates are to arrive 1 hour before the ceremony and should not bring phones, purses, or keys. Enter door identified at rehearsal. Guests should use the main doors and must have a ticket to enter. Security will be in place. No bags, flowers, or ballons are allowed. All guests and graduates will be asked to leave the venue immediately following the ceremony. Concerns about the condition of the stage have been addressed by RPS central office staff.
