We have some fun dress up days over the next two weeks. Students are encouraged to participate, but as always it is optional.

• Thursday, December 19th - Pajamas for Holiday Parties (bring a stuffed animal and/or wear slippers for $1 to support 5th Grade)

We wanted to remind our families that Lewisville ISD requires that a parent or guardian be present at the bus stop in order for Kindergarten and 1st grade students to be released from the bus. If a parent is not present, the bus must complete the route and then return the bus back to the school at the end of the route, thereby causing delays. Our buses run on a tiered system, meaning that bus routes for elementary, middle and high school are staggered. When an elementary bus is late due to a parent/ guardian not being at the stop, it causes the subsequent middle school and high school routes to be late, as well. Any students who do not have a parent/ guardian at the bus stop will receive a formal warning letter and if it occurs again, may lose bus privileges for the remainder of the year. If your Kinder or 1st grade student (s) ride the bus, thank you for ensuring a parent/ guardian is present at the bus stop each afternoon.
