To encourage perfect attendance, we’re excited to announce a special pizza party for classes that spell out “PERFECT ATTENDANCE.” Here’s how it works:

• Everyday your child's class has perfect attendance, they earn a letter
• Classes that successfully spell out “PERFECT ATTENDANCE” will be rewarded with a fun pizza party!

Let’s work together to ensure our students are present and engaged. Thank you for your support in promoting a positive learning environment!

Crain will have our annual Thanksgiving luncheon on Wednesday, November 20th, in the cafeteria. Guests are invited to join the children for turkey dressing and all the trimmings at a cost of $8 for each guest (adult or child). Due to limited seating, each child will be limited to having 2 guests. NO outside food will be allowed this day. Students who do not have a parent or family come, will eat in the classroom with their teacher.

Having access to the VISD Parent Gradebook means you no longer have to wait for teacher emails or report cards to understand how your child is doing in school. You can monitor their progress in real-time, identify areas where they might need extra support, and celebrate their successes as they happen. To access the VISD Parent Gradebook, parents/guardians of students in 1st-5th will need to create a Home Access Center username and password. At Crain, we believe that your involvement is key to creating a vibrant and supportive school community. We invite you to volunteer your time and talents to enrich our students' educational experience.

Whether you can spare a few hours or are available for regular commitments, there are many ways to get involved. We could use help with tasks like assisting teachers with copies, cutting, laminating, sorting, being a lunch monitor, being a guest reader, and much more! Your contributions can make a significant impact.
