February Meeting Minutes
If you missed the February PTO Meeting as you were prepping for the inclimate weather, have no fear! You can review the meeting minutes here.
Be sure to put the March 12th meeting (at 6:30pm) on your calendar, and plan to join us as we finalize plans for our spring events!
Fundraising Suggestions Needed!
Do you have an idea or suggestion for a fundraiser for the 2025-2026 school year? We would love to hear about it! You can either email dcdk8pto@gmail.com or attend the next PTO meeting to share your idea. While volunteers are always welcome, you don't have to volunteer to coordinate the fundraiser.
Thank You DCD K-8 Community!!
We collected almost 700 pairs of socks for Charity! Thank you for your KINDNESS!
Parent Pick-up Reminders
Please remember that everyone is waiting in line and looking for a parking space. Recently, people have cut into the front of the line while cars are trying to pull forward. This is really frustrating to other drivers who have been circling and waiting to get into the back of the line.
Do NOT stop in the middle of the aisles to pick-up students! Do NOT encourage your child to dart across traffic to hop in your car. If you stop, even briefly, you stop the whole line!
If you wait until 3:30pm to pick up your student, the line is much shorter. Thanks for your patience and respecting your fellow parents as everyone navigates the parking lot.
