Safety Update
At our school, student safety is a top priority. To strengthen our safety measures, we are implementing the following procedures effective immediately:
- All interior doors, including classroom doors, must remain locked at all times during the school day.
- Students are required to wear their school-issued ID on the lanyard provided. Please remind your son or daughter to wear their ID daily.
- No drop-offs (food, supplies, etc.) are permitted during the school day for any reason.
Your cooperation in reinforcing these measures at home will help us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone. Thank you for your support!
Attendance Matters!
Consistent attendance is key to success in high school. Being present ensures students don’t miss out on important lessons, discussions, and activities that build knowledge and skills. Every day matters, and regular attendance helps students stay on track academically and prepares them for future success! Students must be present at least 90% of the days in a grading period to avoid losing credit. Attendance matters!!! Please review the attached flyer for more details about our exciting Attendance Celebrations!

We’re really excited about our upcoming Club Fair, and we’d love for every student to come and see what’s available. Joining a club or organization is such a great way for students to meet new friends, explore their passions, and make the most of their high school experience. Plus, it gives them a sense of belonging and something fun to look forward to!

Building Resilience in Your Teen: Strategies for Success
As teens navigate high school, they will inevitably face challenges and setbacks. Building resilience is key to helping them overcome obstacles and grow stronger. Encourage your teen to view challenges as opportunities for growth, rather than failures. Help them develop problem-solving skills, manage stress through healthy coping mechanisms, and maintain a positive outlook. By fostering open communication and offering consistent support, you can empower your teen to bounce back from adversity with confidence and resilience. Together, we can equip them with the tools they need for lifelong success.
TOPIC OF THE MONTH: Empathy
Empathy is a key part of Social Emotional Learning, helping students understand and share the feelings of others. By developing empathy, students learn to build stronger, more meaningful relationships and foster a positive, inclusive school environment. Encouraging empathy at home can help your child become more compassionate, supportive, and effective in resolving conflicts.
