We have reached the point in the school year where we have multiple culminating activities scheduled to take place. If you are uncertain about any upcoming events or activities, please give us a call at the school so that we can answer any questions and ensure you have correct dates, times, etc. As a reminder, WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2025 is the last day of the SY24-25 for students.

There are NO CHARGES ALLOWED as of Thursday, May 1 . Students will either (1) need money in their account OR (2) have cash in hand to purchase a meal. Students will be given an alternate meal and milk if they do not have money on account after April 30, 2025.

Our final day for LUNCH VISITORS in the 2024-2025 school year will be WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2025.

If your child has medications in the clinic, please pick them up by the end of the school year. If medications are not picked up by May 22, Mrs. Bowers will need to dispose of them.

GCPS Transportation Forms were previously sent home via Friday Folder. We are asking that you complete the form for the 2025-2026 school year and return it to school by May 12, 2025. Having this information in advance allows GCPS transportation to print the correct tag for your student's bookbag.

• You should indicate grade level for the SY25-26 school year.
• You should not put a teacher name at this time.
• Check either GCPS bus, walker, OR car rider and mark a.m., p.m., OR both.
• Select your child's primary mode of transportation when completing the form.
• Please be sure to read the guidelines provided on the back of the form.

If your student WILL BE returning to Camp Creek Elementary School for the 2025-26 school year, please be sure to:

• update parent / emergency information through ParentVue.
• You will be asked to verify emergency contacts when you return for SY 25-26.
• return the GCPS Transportation Form that was sent home indicating how your child will be going home from school next year (see above).
  

If your student will be leaving Camp Creek Elementary School, you will need to withdraw them.

• This also applies to current fifth grade students who will not be attending Trickum Middle School in the Fall. Contact Crystal Knox, Crystal.Knox@gcpsk12.org, prior to Friday, May 16.
• Any outstanding library books, textbooks, and / or school issued devices will need to be returned in order for us to process your withdrawal without delay!

We're looking forward to welcoming our new kindergarten students in the 2025-26 school year! If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2025, you can register now.

Kindergarten registration is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Much of the registration process, including the uploading of documents needed for registration, will be completed online.

What if student(s) did not order a yearbook?

Remaining yearbooks will be sold to FIFTH GRADE stduents on the LOWER LEVEL (GRADE 5 FLOOR) on THURSDAY, MAY 15 during AM arrival. Yearbook sales will then be open to students in Grades K-4 on Friday, May 16.

Please send CASH or CHECK made payable to Camp Creek ES PTA in the amount of $50.

Bingo Night – Event (OCTOBER) Work with PHS Community School to reserve date, cafeteria, and custodial staff; communicate set up and procure AV equipment. Set up signage at PHS for event. Order Bingo Cards and pencils. Create advertisement for Weekly Paws. Set up and monitor ticket sales on Givebacks. Set up and break down (volunteers will help with this as well).

Bingo Night – Games (OCTOBER) Ensure Carnival Games are in working order. Order prizes for games. Set up and breakdown games in auxiliary gym (volunteers will help with this as well).

Bingo Night - Concessions (OCTOBER) Coordinate preorder of Pizza and Chick-fil-A sandwiches, donation of drinks, and candy, and provide direction to volunteers on the night of the event. NEED Co-Chair

Bingo Night – Baskets (OCTOBER) Send email to room parents to obtain a Classroom Basket Rep for each class. Collects baskets from class reps, delivers to and sets up at PHS at Bingo Night.

Spring Fling – Event (APRIL) Event held at CCES; procure bouncy houses, dunk tank, face painting and hair painting supplies. Create advertisement for Weekly Paws. Set up and monitor ticket sales on Givebacks. Set up and break down (volunteers will help with this as well).

Spring Fling - Concessions (APRIL) Coordinate preorder of pizza, donation of drinks, and candy, and provide direction to volunteers on the night of the event.
