As we approach Kindness Week, which will take place from January 27th to 31st, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Kindness is a powerful tool, and it’s truly inspiring to see the kindness that is continuously shared within our school. and community. Whether it's a smile in the parking lot, a helping hand in the classroom, or the support shown to one another on the playground, our community has always been a beacon of empathy and compassion.
I want to thank our students, staff, and families for being such wonderful role models of kindness. The example you set has a profound impact on our students, teaching them not only the importance of being kind to others, but also how it can shape a positive and welcoming environment for everyone. It is this sense of kindness that helps our school thrive.
In addition, as we navigate the winter months, I’d like to share a Scandinavian saying: "There is no bad weather, only bad clothes." This is a beautiful reminder that with the right preparation, we can face any challenge. As temperatures drop, it’s important to ensure our children are dressed warmly for the cold weather, especially as they play outside. Please take a moment to double-check that your child’s jackets, hats, and other winter gear are labeled with their name. This small act can help us keep track of their belongings and avoid confusion as we work to ensure every student is comfortable and safe.
