A Message from Ms. Peterson
Hello MCP3 Families!
Thank you all for coming to parent-teacher conferences last week! I enjoyed getting to see many of you on your way in or out and chatting about how your child is progressing. Thank you for trusting us with your child and for your continued partnership in their education. It was also fun to have so many of you participate in the Oreo Challenge, so we could graph how people eat an oreo! Remember, it is important for us to all know that we have similarities and differences but it is our differences that make us unique and special.
Last week we had a great time focusing on the skill of "listening" to kick off our November Focus Skill Dojo Challenge. Shout out to Ms. Harrell and the Bulldogs for being the class with the most points for listening! They earned a total of 94 listening points! WOW! The Bulldogs enjoyed their extra Rauh Room time. See below for this week's Dojo Focus Skill!
Here are a few important reminders and updates for the next couple of weeks:
Dojo Challenge!!!
Classrooms are challenged to see who can get the most dojo points for BEING NICE this week. The class with the most points for being nice will get to pick out of a special prize box! Encourage your scholar to be a good friend this week by showing kindness, being helpful, and by sharing with classmates. Let's earn those points!!
Friendship Week- Nov. 11-Nov. 14
This Week is National Anti-Bullying week. At MCP3 we will will refer to this as Friendship week and scholars will learn about respect, kindness, and why it's important to "choose respect." Families are able to attend if they would like. Award certificates will be sent home at the end of the day.

The first round of ASQs were sent home today to scholars who turned/turn 42 months or 48 months between 8/21/24-11/31/24. Please complete and return the ASQ by 11/14/24. We look forward to your participation in our developmental screening process! If you choose not to complete the questionnaire, we ask that you email Ms. Peterson @ allison.peterson@mkeprep.com.
No School Friday 11/15
This is a Professional Development day for our staff. Scholars do NOT have school on Friday. Please refer to our school calendar linked at the bottom of the newsletter for our monthly PD days so that you can plan accordingly.
