Principal's Message
LES Parents,
Find Your Stripes Day was a HUGE success -- what an AWESOME day to be an LES Tiger Cub!!!! !!!!! This was a day that we have been planning for all year, and I have so many people to thank for making this day such a memorable one for our students!!!
THANK YOU....
Kari Strater (3rd grade teacher) and Andy Price (4th grade teacher) were the AMAZING teacher leaders who have been working on this with me since early September. I can't say enough about their enthusiasm for the event, and the time and effort they put into today was truly above and beyond!!!
LHS Tigers Inc. Teacher Leader, Craig Murnan & Student Leaders, Liv Bast and Alyse Knapschaefer. This would not have been possible without the partnership with Tigers Inc.!!!! Mr. Murnan assisted with the logistics at LHS and Liv & Alyse, seniors at LHS, were responsible for recruiting the 29 different student groups and were our go-to gals for all of our communication with the high school students.
ALL of the LHS PRESENTERS!!!!! WOW!!!!! Talk about being proud of Loveland students -- if you could have seen these students in action, you would have been blown away -- I know we all were!!!!
Our keynote speakers - Superintendent Mike Broadwater and LPS Counselor, Darcie Chandler and her Therapy Dog, Jordy. So cool to have these amazing professionals present to our Tiger cubs!
Adam Samuels, Loveland's Coordinator of Technology and Innovation, created the program that allowed our students to sign-up for sessions and printed out the individual schedules for the day so that our students would have individual schedules in their cool lanyards.
LES parapro, Randi Dyer, went above and beyond to help us prepare for the big day!!! She assisted with too many logistical issues to list!!! Her behind the scenes efforts truly made the day run so smoothly!!
LEPTA Volunteers Nikki Preston, Sue Glanton, Jen Sargent and Kelly Cocco - thank you so much for spending your day with us and helping with check-in, lunch and clean-up!!! LEPTA also provided pizza and water for our lunch!
Andy Dyer, Liberty Federal Credit Union --THANK YOU for sponsoring our t-shirts for our staff and LHS presenters. We love the shirts -- they looked amazing!!
And, last but not least, thank you to the LES teachers, secretaries, staff and custodians for all that you did to make the day so fun for our students! I couldn't be more proud of everyone involved!!!! This is truly a team effort and worth every minute of the planning and prep that went into it!
I hope your students will share about the fun things that they were able to do throughout the day! Enjoy your weekend!
