Weekly Announcements
Student Progress:
We are entering week 6 of quarter 4. First quarter progress reports will be available on MyStudent starting on Friday, September 20th. Please take a few minutes and review your students’ progress. If you have questions, contact your student’s teachers. If you would like to schedule a parent/teacher conference, contact Ms. Collige at 352-524-5539. Remember we have free tutoring. See the flyer in the newsletter for more information.
Tardies:
Parents and Guardians, we really need your support with communicating with your students the importance of getting to class on time. Student tardies are high and we need our students to be in class. I encourage you to check your parent portal and look at your student’s attendance.
Please make sure you are aware that the school day begins at 7:15am.
Student Parking:
If your student plans to park on campus, please make sure they have purchased their parking permits. Parking permits are required and strictly enforced.
Community Service:
Community service opportunities are available. Sign up on your CRC Canvas Course. See Ms. Edwards for details.
Travel Opportunity:
Looking for something fun to do for Spring Break? The Pirate Expeditions Club is heading to London and Paris! We will have an information session on Wednesday, September 18, 6:30pm at IHOP in Dade City. See Ms Reed in Room 4-202 for more details.

School Pictures:
School Pictures will be on Friday, October 4th. Students will take their pictures through their English class. If your student has an English class off-campus, they can take their picture during lunch.
No School for Students:
Mark your calendars for Monday and Tuesday, October 14th and 15th. Students will not have school on these days.
Parent Volunteers:
If you are interested in being a volunteer for PHS, please make sure you have visited the Pasco County Schools website and complete the volunteer application.
PTSA:
Pasco High School has a very active PTSA. We would like to invite all parents that would like to be a part of this phenomenal group to the next meeting on September 24th @ 6:00pm in the front office.

Wireless Communication Device Policy
Please make sure you are aware of the Wireless Communication Device (WCD) Policy for Pasco High School. There is a change from last year. Students will only be able to use their WCD's during lunch. Also, it is important to note that the policy includes headphones/earbuds. It is imperative that you understand and plan to follow this policy starting on day one of the school year. If you have any questions, please reach out to administration. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

PHS TUTORING
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY
Please mark your calendar for the 2024 Florida College Tour. It will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, from 5:30-7:30 pm in the PHS Activity Center. Colleges from the state of Florida and southeast will visit. It's a great time to learn about admission requirements and what the schools have to offer. See Ms. Edwards if you have questions.
