Take A Walk on the Wild Side

Monday, May 6th, Tuesday, May 7th and Wednesday, May 8th we will be meeting for our classes at the McColl Pond ELC in Savage from 8:00-1:00. The McColl Pond ELC is located within Savage Community Park, 13550 Dakota Ave., Savage, MN 55378.
You will need to provide your own transportation. Also, bring a water bottle and a bag lunch.
We will be spending 3 days learning about the environment, collecting weather data, and participating in a service project. This project is a hands-on STEM education program that links practical engineering skills with global humanitarian service as students build and share We Share Solar® Suitcases with schools in energy scarce regions of the world.
The We Share Solar education program serves youth twice, first as an educational experience for American youth and second as a renewable power and lighting system for youth in parts of the world that lack electricity. Here is a link of information. https://wesharesolar.org/
