Your child recently completed the i-Ready Diagnostic Assessment in Reading and Mathematics. Based on the results of this diagnostic assessment, along with other types of assessment information, teachers will be providing differentiated instruction in a blended learning environment, which includes a mixture of teacher and online instruction. The i-Ready online instruction is aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and is designed to be challenging, engaging, and interactive. The result is an experience that attracts and holds your child’s interest while also teaching important skills and concepts. Students can also access these lessons at home through Clever.

This year we will continue to give families direct access to the family reports. Please use the following buttons to review how to access the reports.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our Student Council is organizing a Coins for Cancer fundraiser to support AH's staff member Ms. Shaw and her team Pink Dreams as they will be participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event on Sunday 10/27 in Parsippany

We are hopeful that the AH community will join in by supporting this fundraiser and we ask that everyone show their support by wearing pink and having a schoolwide "Pink Out" on Friday 10/18.

All Halloween Harvest/ Spirit Day activities are scheduled (weather permitting) for Tuesday, October 31, 2022. Families are welcome to join us outside as our parade will start at 10:30 am.

Our Halloween /Harvest/ Spirit Day guidelines are as follows:

1. All Halloween costumes must be school-appropriate for the age level.

2. Students choosing to dress must wear their costumes to school. School spirit attire or school colors is welcome!

3. No weapons, swords, handheld accessories, or anything that resembles a weapon

4. Halloween masks are not permitted to be worn inside the school building. They can be worn only while walking in the parade

5. Halloween costumes must be functional with the classroom environment (sitting and moving safely.)

6. If the weather is inclement the outdoor parade will be canceled. Students should still wear their costumes to school. All activities ( including parade) will remain as scheduled however they will take place indoors, for students only.

IMPORTANT: For our student's safety, we ask that guests stand along the parade route at all times. Students must stay with their classes at all times. I will send parade route information as we get closer to the date.
