News from the Office
ENROLLMENT FOR NEXT YEAR (AUGUST, 2025) IS NOW OPEN FOR KINDERGARTEN. STUDENTS MUST BE 5 YEARS OLD ON OR BEFORE AUGUST 1ST. PLEASE GO TO HSESCHOOLS.ORG TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD.

Please have your child arrive on time for school. Remember, first bell rings at 7:30 a.m. Students are tardy to class if they are not in their classrooms by 7:40 a.m.
Please use School Dismissal Manager to report how your child goes home. You can also use it to report absences or late arrivals due to appointments. You can also call the Attendance Line at 317-594-4840 to report an absence. If you need help, please call Stacy or Bonnie in office. Just a reminder to let office know reason for absences. If no reason given, student is given an unexcused.

SNACKS IN CAFETERIA
The snacks we sell at school are all approved as "Snack Smart" by the USDA. They are "healthy and functional snacks that benefit digestive health, weight management support, and overall health and wellbeing". These are the snacks and prices we offer at DCE:
"Cookie" (baked in house) - .80
"Snack"- $1.10: Cheez-Its, Goldfish crackers, pretzels, pudding cup, Jello cup, fruit roll-up, Welch's fruit snacks
"Large Snack"- $1.15: Rice Krispie treat, Brownie, Grandma Cookies
"Chips"- $1.10: Variety of Lays chips, Smart pop popcorn, Variety of Cheetos,
These snacks are sold on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
"Ice Cream"- $1.25: Variety of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and dairy-free.
Ice cream is sold to all grades on Wednesdays.

OPEN GYM ON SUNDAYS 1 - 5 AT FISHERS JR. HIGH SCHOOL
Introducing Open Gym at Fishers Junior High School. This program will operate every Sunday until HSE's Spring Break (Jan 26-March 30th) from 1-5pm.
Participants are asked to park in the back lot and enter through door 12. All participants will need to sign a liability waiver before participating and a sign in/out sheet as well. No outside food or drinks are permitted, water is the only exception.
Brought to you by Fishers Health and Parks Departments, we will be providing basketballs, volleyballs, jump ropes, pop-up pickleball, and playground balls. Students in grades K-8 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (aged 18+) at all times while using the facility. If a participant is under 18 years of age, but currently a 9th grader or above, a parent MUST sign a liability waiver on their behalf before exiting the facility.
