- Take some time to review the Culture Club focus doc. There are some note worthy dates and SEL topics and themes for the month and weeks ahead.
- This week PLC's will focus on formative assessment, peer review and feedback. Please have them prepared for your meetings.
- PD this week will focus on Exact Path and writing
- Please be sure to submit your 2 students for Councilman Kazy's Christmas program to Mrs. Funk.
That's it for now. Have a great week!
Sincerely,
-Mr. Myslenski

Updates by Mrs. Cree
K-3:
Good news - Parent Signature Pages will NOT be required for the first RIMP submission due December 11th. However, we will still need specific information in the Notes section of the Meeting task listing exactly who you spoke to, mode of communication (phone, virtual), and the date of the conversation.
Teachers in grades K-1 - please be sure to sign up for the Headsprouts training this coming Wednesday. You should have received an email from Gloriane Smith last Tuesday with details.
NWEA / Exact Path
All students that took the Fall NWEA should have a learning path that has been uploaded to Exact Path. Training on this individualized resource will be offered in the near future.
Resource Pick-up
There are still quite a few students that still need to pick up their Eureka math books for the 2nd quarter. Please encourage families to come in ASAP.
Special Education
Special Education Updates,
Hello team,
Just a few reminders: I sent out a copy of the Fluid Learning Form with directions on how to access along with what to indicate on the form if students are not making progress on their IEP goals in this remote setting. Please check you last email. I also sent out a PD video regarding the Fluid Learning document which was titled Fluid Learning Document and Process. There has been a couple of questions regarding students who are making adequate progress and if we are to still fill out the fluid learning forms? I was told in our last Liaison meeting that we were supposed to attach a copy to all students IEP’s on our caseload and indicate somewhere if students are making progress or not. I looked at the forms and noticed that they are very lengthy! I reached out to Jessica to get more information on exactly what we do when students are making progress.
Liaison Notes November 2020:
-Special education students will get priority when it is safe to return to school.
-Students in a single classroom environment will get priority for the most in person learning once it is safe to return.
-Nothing has changed, we will be in remote learning until at least January
-Are we reconvening teams for students who are not making progress?
What are we doing as a team? How are we engaging students?
We need to make sure that we are bring teams together to see why students are not making progress.
What is our data telling us… Need to reach out to whomever we can to help students make progress.
Docusign:
2,400 envelopes where created so far
Updates to templates will come at the end of the month
Mrs. Cheverine's 2nd Grade Turkey Project:)

Engagement Team Updates
Reminder: We are asking that teachers do not refer families to come to the school when a tech need arises. Please fill out the Support Form on their behalf or you can direct them to call the school. Although the office is open, the expectation is that families make an appointment.
