Hello from Mrs. Katz!
We had another wonderful week at Sundance! Our Fun Run was a huge success and funds raised will have a tremendous impact next year- drum roll please... our Wildcats raised over $40k!! Throughout the month of April, we will "Light It Up Blue" to bring awareness to autism and neurodiversity. Students are encouraged to wear blue every Friday. Ms. Park and I will read Just Ask: Be Different, Be Brave, Be You to classes throughout the month. As we look ahead, we are excited to offer a spring-themed STEAM projects for all grade levels. Tune into our Instagram for photos and videos throughout the month (@SundanceElementary).
Save the date for our Volunteer Recognition - June 3rd @8:15am! We had to change the date due to Xploration. Thanks for understanding and we hope to see you there.

Please see below to determine the level of clearance you are interested in pursuing. Processing time is 1-2 days for a level 1 volunteer and 1-2 days for a level 2 volunteer.

Sundance May Masquerade: A Sundance Affair - Tickets on Sale NOW!
Join us from 6-9 pm for dinner, drinks and auction benefiting Sundance on May 3rd. The Auction committee has been hard at work to plan a fun night out for all of the Sundance parents - we hope to see you there! Tickets are on sale NOW! Full details below in the flyer. This was our most successful Fun Run EVER with the total amount raised - $40,505
Top Two Individual Fundraisers - Juliet Matthews, 4th Grade and Parker Nelson, 5th Grade
Top #1 Fundraising Class - Mrs. De Leon’s 4th Grade Class
The #2 Fundraising Class - Mrs. Koenig’s 3rd grade class
The #3 Fundraising Class - Mrs. Peterson’s 1st grade class
A record number of 50 students earned SUPERSTAR fundraiser status raising $300 or more and earning yard signs to display proudly! Our final two Fun Run raffle winners are Luciana Salazar-Garcia & Will Telford winning the Family Bowling Night and Lego Gift baskets. Join us during next week's Friday Flag to play Pie in the Face with Mrs. Katz and special guests on April 5th! Finally, we also earned the schoolwide Master Sports Field day which will take place in May, more details to come!
