This week we celebrated Red Ribbon Week. We talked to the students about being drug free, and celebrated a spirit week. We recognized award winners in each classroom, acknowledging high academic growth and performance in addition to attendance and global competencies. We are so proud of each of our students. Two families won a raffle for $25 gift cards from Food Lion because their student was in school 98% of the time! Kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade went on field trips this week and made connections in each place to their classroom learning. We had our second round of boot camp this week for third, fourth, and fifth grade students as they continue to build their skills.

- There is no school on Election Day, November 5th.
- Fall Festival is November 8th from 5:00-7:00. Tickets are on sale this week! They are $10 in advance and $15 the night of the event. Each ticket includes hot dog dinner and 20 punches. We are looking for volunteers and individuals who can donate cakes and prizes. Please reach out to westoxfordelempto@gmail.com if you can help.
- November 11th is Veteran's Day. There is no school.
- Bingo Night is November 15th from 6:00-8:00. Kona Ice and Bigfoot Barbecue will be on site!
- Progress reports go home on November 18th.
- Fall picture make ups are November 22nd.
