Did you know you can add the MS 50 Calendar directly to your device? Simply click here to add to your Google Calendar or click here to add it to your Apple device. This calendar not only has our MS 50 events but also includes the DOE calendar with all days off for the entire upcoming school year.

This summer, Operoo will be expanding to a one-stop communication platform for staff and families called SchoolStatus Connect. This exciting update will allow you to communicate with your student's teachers, sign permission slips and forms, and view the weekly newsletters all from one app and web platform. There is a lot more to share and we hope that this change will make communication and staying up-to-date even easier. We anticipate this transition will happen around the beginning of August and we will contact you with additional information when that will take place.

This Spring, the DOE made a change to their centrally-loaned device policy. All devices (iPads, Chromebooks, etc) distributed to students during the pandemic now belong to the school those students currently attend. This is a change from a previous policy which directed students to keep the devices with them when they changed schools. If your student is not returning to MS 50 in the fall (either because they are moving, switching schools, or graduating) please return your device to Mr. Stripp by Thursday, June 20th with a note indicating your student's name and homeroom.
