Curtis Chronicles
October 21, 2024
Welcome from Curtis Principal, Sonya Pitcock
Cougar Families,
As we kick off the second quarter, we want to share a few reminders with you.
First of all, if you are dropping off your child after 8:15, please drop them at the front doors so they have time to get to their class and don't encounter a locked door.
Next, please be sure not to block our buses in the afternoon in the front. All student pick up is on the Rivercrest side of the building, not the front. We have two waves of buses and the second group doesn't arrive until 3:45, so please do not pick up in the front.
Lastly, we have been working with students about being to class on time instead of visiting in the halls with friends. Consequences are being given and students will be losing Cougar Time if they are not on time to class. Please remind your students to use their passing period appropriately so they don't end up with consequences.
We look forward to students participating in Red Ribbon Week this week and are excited about the assembly sponsored by PTA. Your membership makes this possible and we appreciate it so much! Please encourage neighbors, friends and family to join PTA to support our students.
