MYP Students are lifelong learners! All Julius West rising sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students are encouraged to read for fun and learning over the summer. Students are invited to participate in the JWMS Summer Reading Challenge. All students who complete and verify four or more challenge activities by September 15 will be invited to an event in the fall.

Middle school and high school students may continue earning Student Service Learning (SSL) hours towards their graduation requirement by participating in SSL opportunities during the summer. There are a number of opportunities posted on the SSL webpage.
