SPRING FEST - SPLASH TO THE PAST

Please join us for an evening of fun for the whole family with carnival games, inflatables, kids' raffle, online silent auction, staff experience bid items, Black Walnut dinner, concessions, and more! Most of the games, concessions and inflatables will be located outside around the entire school. A few games, raffle items, and dinner will be inside. Signs will be posted.

• Tickets for games, kids’ raffle & concessions are interchangeable
• Pre-purchase tickets on the Membership Toolkit App at davidpto.membershiptoolkit.com now through April 3rd at midnight
• Tickets are 50 cents each
• Pre-purchase prior to event & save

o Purchase 50 tickets and get 5 extra tickets

o Purchase 100 tickets and get 10 extra tickets

o Purchase 150 tickets and get 15 extra tickets plus a David Elementary Drawstring bag

• Pre-purchased tickets will come home daily with students starting Friday, March 25th
• April 2nd - 5th (7:30 am - 8:00 am) - You can purchase tickets before school on the school front porch, or during school lunches on the stage in the cafeteria

• Quarterback Toss, Plinko, Hula Hurl, Spin to Win, Soda Pop Toss, Lucky Duck, Balloon Pop and many more exciting fun games and prizes!!!

• Items will be on display in school gym
• Students can enter during lunch each day starting April 2nd and at Spring Fest
• Your student can purchase tickets (50 cents each) at lunch or bring in tickets from online orders. 1 entry = 1 50 cent ticket
• Write his/her name, phone # and teacher on the ticket
• Winners will be announced at Spring Fest. You can pick up your winnings in the Music Room immediately after winners are announced

Bidding and payment for the Spring Fest Silent Auction will take place online. You will be able to take a closer look at class baskets and most other auction items in the mini-gym the night of the event. You will need to use your mobile device to bid on items.

Accessing the Auction:

1. Go to: https://www.32auctions.com/DavidSpringFest2024

2. Click “Login” in the upper right corner.

3. You will need to create an account to participate. Where page says, “Don’t have an account?” Click “Create an account now.”

4. Enter your name, email address, and create a password. Then indicate approval for all conditions.

5. You will then receive an email at the email account you provided. In the email, click “Yes, Finish Creating My Account.”

The email indicates a display name chosen by default. This is what other bidders will see when you participate in the online auction. If you would like to change this, go to “My Account” and then “edit account.” You can even upload a photo of yourself!

6. You are now set to Bid or “Buy Now” at the auction!

AUCTION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FRIDAY, APRIL 5th AT 7:30 P.M.

“Bidding” Items Vs. “Buy Now” Items

• Bidding items accept bids like a regular auction. You will be competing with others for these prizes. Bidding items will remain open until 7:30 p.m. on April 5th. If you have placed a bid on an item, and are outbid, you can receive status updates so that you can quickly raise your bid.
• Buy Now items are items that you can win immediately! Most gift cards and certificates will have this option with the price set at its full value. Buy Now Items will say “Buy Now: $$$” in their description on ****************************************

Helpful Tips for 32 Auctions Site

1. Utilize Proxy bidding. This allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered. To enter a proxy bid, enter your maximum bid amount, click the Proxy Bid button, and submit your bid.

2. Click the star button on the auction bar to view the items you’re winning and the total amount of your bids.

3. Click the heart button on the auction bar to view the items in your Watch List.

4. Use your cellular data plan or the school Wi-Fi connection: CISD Guest Wi-Fi. (No password required.)

5. If on Wi-Fi, make sure you can access your email account to view notifications.

Class Parties & Staff Experiences

• Grade level class parties have unlimited space for students in that grade level, and the Specials team party is open to all grades. These parties will NOT be on the auction site; visit the auction room in the mini-gym to purchase.
• You’ll find memorable staff experiences and some on our online auction.
  

Checkout Process

The auction closes at 7:30 p.m. on April 5th. Winning bidders will be emailed an invoice. There will be a link to pay for your items via PayPal. This will expedite your checkout experience. Items may be picked up in the auction room after kid raffle winners are announced. If you need to use another form of payment, cashiers will be available.

If you can’t stay until the end of the event, or if you are unable to attend, please pay your emailed invoice that night and pick up your item(s) by Wednesday, April 10th, at David. We encourage you to share the auction link with family and friends! However, David PTO will not ship items to winning bidders. All items must be picked up at David Elementary by Wednesday April 10th. All sales are final, NO REFUNDS for winning bids or “Buy Now,” purchases.
