Hello Sunbeam Families! This week was brought to you by the letter E and all things Halloween-EEEEKKKK!

REMINDER: GBP and LCPS are closed October 30-November 5, 2024. Classes resume Wednesday, November 6th.

To make things easier, we are extending October Scholastic Orders to October 31st as that is also when Picture orders are due. Please see below for Scholastic Book Order information. Picture order information has been shared on Brightwheel as it is password sensitive.

Our Halloween Parades are Monday, October 28th (MW 2s, MWF 3s and Bees) and Tuesday, October 29th (T/TH 2s, T/TH 3s and Owls) at 9:15am.

Please drop your students off in their classrooms as usual and head up to the Sanctuary on your parade day. We'll bring the children up around 9:15am. Students will parade through the Sanctuary and each class will gather for pictures before trick-or-treating and class parties. Our Pre-K students trick-or-treat in the town hall foyer while 2s and 3s trick-or-treat in the building. Individual class party information was sent out by classroom teachers.

Students are invited to wear preschool-appropriate costumes to school. We do ask that loose parts/accessories stay at home so they do not get lost before Halloween night.

GBP's Annual Holiday Vendor Fair is November 13th and 14th. This is one of our favorite events as it allows us to highlight local businesses/vendors while kicking off the holiday season! Vendors range from homemade treats to jewelry, seasonal decor to cosmetics.

Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.

-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm

-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm
