The first grad parent meeting was held at 6:45PM on September 17th in the Bellerose atrium. View the initial Grad Meeting Agenda.

Grad tickets go on sale May 13th & 14th after school. On May 9th, a Grad list (by student ID #) will be posted at the Front Office with all Grade 12 students listed - each student is drawn a random number that indicates which day they can purchase tickets.

Tables seat 8-10 guests per table (ECC will let us squeeze 11 if needed). Groups more than 11 guests will be seated at 2 tables. If you have fewer than 8 guests, it is likely you will be seated with another family.

Ticket cost is $110/ticket. Each person attending this portion of the event, requires a ticket (including the Grad). A child ticket is available at a reduced cost ($30) for any child 12 & under and will be served a child meal. Banquet tickets are non-refundable.

Ticket sales will be after school in the Front Atrium/Office area as follows:

• #1 - 192 - May 13 - starting at 2:30 pm

• #193 - 384 - May 14 - starting at 1:00 pm

Students/parents will be called into the office in groups of 5-7 by random draw order number. Once called in, you will be able to select your table, identify any dietary restrictions and make the payment. Tickets must be paid in full at the time of table selection. We can not hold any seats.

**All outstanding fees must be paid in full and any overdue library books/textbooks must be returned, before banquet tickets can be purchased. Any accounts with an outstanding balance prior to the random draw, will automatically be assigned a random number greater than 192 (day 2 of Grad banquet ticket sales).**

If a student/parent misses their times or would like to purchase additional tickets, tickets will be available for purchase during lunch, in the Front Office from May 15th to May 29th. Tickets will need to be presented at the door for entrance into the Grad Banquet on June 14, 2025. Cash, cheques, debit cards and credit cards will be accepted.

The last day to purchase tickets will be THURSDAY, MAY 29TH.

Commencement Ceremony:

Location: Edmonton Convention Centre (9797 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB)

Date: Saturday, June 14, 2025

Time: 9:30 am

• A commencement fee (see below) is applied to each graduating student at the beginning of the school year.
• Tickets are not required to attend the commencement ceremony and there is no limit on the number of guests attending.
• Graduates need to be on site by 8:30 am

• Banquet tickets are required for each person attending. Tickets will go on sale in May. More information to follow regarding banquet ticket sales.

There is a MANDATORY Graduation Ceremony Rehearsal at lunch on Friday, June 13th. The rehearsal will take place here at Bellerose. Every Graduate walking the stage is REQUIRED to attend. During the rehearsal, a walk through of the event will take place, important information will be discussed and Grad gowns will be handed out.

Please make arrangements now to attend this rehearsal.

The Commencement fee of $110, payable through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, is charged to all graduating students and is used to cover costs related to the Commencement Ceremony which includes grad gown rentals, caps, tassels, stoles, diploma covers, diploma printing, decorations, flowers, video recordings etc.

*please note the Commencement Fee does not include any banquet tickets.

To be eligible to participate in graduation activities, Bellerose students must meet the requirements for an Alberta high school diploma by the end of June of their Grade 12 year. Students must have completed, or be enrolled in and passing, sufficient courses to meet all diploma requirements, including a minimum of 100 credits. Students who wish to have independent study or off-campus courses as part of the qualifications must provide documentation of course registration.

• Students should ensure they are registered in the appropriate courses to meet the requirements.

• Students should ensure they will be able to earn sufficient credits to meet the minimum 100 credits.
