Dear OLVCS Parents and Friends,
We have had another great week of school. It was wonderful seeing so many at the Elementary Back to School Night, and I look forward to seeing our Middle School families on Tuesday, September 12th. (details below)
Tuesday, September 12th will be Fall photo day for grades K-8. Preschool photo day will be Wednesday, September 13th. Students may ‘dress down’ (or up) for the day.
We are in the midst of the Eucharist Revival. The mission for the revival is To renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. With that in mind we will have a Eucharistic Procession after Mass on Thursday. (September 14th) All are welcome to attend, Mass starts at 9:00 am.

Walk-A-Thon is our school's only all-school fundraiser and raises crucial funds for preschool through 8th grade school programs and activities.
- A special edition Walk-A-Thon newsletter went out on Tuesday. It has all of the important details that you need to know!
- You should have received a family Walk-A-Thon packet this week as well from your student's teacher.

Penn State Football Tickets! A class pool party! The chance to be Mr. Stec for a day! Just some of the many prizes you could win when you raise funds for the Walk-A-Thon!
- Each school family is asked to raise a minimum of $200 in contributions.
- We are dedicated to reaching 100% family participation.
- There are many exciting student, homeroom, and family prizes this year! Check out the chart to see all of the amazing family donation incentives.
- The homerooms that get to 100% participation the fastest will receive an all-class party!
- Donations are due September 29th, 2023 to count towards prize eligibility.

Thursday the OLV Girls Volleyball Team will take on the Southern Huntington Rockets (Three Springs, PA) for the first game of the season. On Friday, the team will travel to the home of the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School Phoenix (Loganton, PA) for their second game of the season.
Our 12 Crusader Volleyball athletes have been working together since mid – August in preparation for these games. Each volleyball game is the best of 3 sets. The first two sets are played to 25 points. The 3rd set it played to 15. All are welcome to come out and cheer on our Crusaders!
