THANK YOU!!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Book Fair! The BH PTO used some of the funds to buy our teachers wishlist books for their classrooms. We are excited to read some new books!
CHAPERONING FOR FIELD TRIPS
We are excited about the upcoming field trips this year! In order to ensure the safety of all our students, we require all volunteers who plan to join a field trip to have a completed and approved background check on file.
If you have not yet completed a background check, please take a moment to do so as soon as possible. The process is simple, and approval can take a few days, so we recommend submitting your application well in advance of any scheduled trips.
For more information on how to complete the background check see the links below! If you have any questions, please reach out to the office at 920-662-9800

Student Self-Assessment
Attention Parents/Guardians:
Your student will have an opportunity to rate their self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship, and responsible decision-making skills by completing a self assessment called Satchel Pulse. Certain schools within HSSD will be piloting this screener to find out more about how we can support your child’s social and emotional growth. The screener will ask students a total of 25 questions and will be completed in under 10 minutes. The student’s teacher will also complete a similar screener based on their observations of your student. This screener will allow school staff to learn how to best support our students’ ongoing development in these five critical skills. This screener will be done twice this year.
Please contact Sydnee Milis, with any questions or for more information. If you would like to opt your child out of the screening process please complete this opt out form by 11/5/2024.
