Promethean Learning Pathway
Promethean is a global leader of integrated interactive technology, providing teachers with the tools which deliver the greatest impact on learning. At OPS we have different types of products from Promethean. It is helpful to know the difference.
Hardware is an
- ActivBoard- which is an interactive whiteboard and usually mounted to the wall. Usually you need a pen to touch and interact with the machine.
- ActivPanel- looks like a tv and is on a stand. You can touch the screen.
- ActivInspire - installed on your computer to create lessons, activities, timer, and spinner. It includes tools for annotating on your lesson or on any website or file you have open.
- ClassFlow- a web based lesson and audience response system with interactive tools designed to support communication, collaboration, creativity, and learning.
