National Letter of Intent Signing
April 17, 2024, was a big day at Eagan High School, marking the third and final signing period for our senior student athletes. It was a momentous occasion, with 14 of our students signing their National Letters of Intent. This was a celebration of hard work, dedication, and dreams coming true. Our students weren't just signing a piece of paper; they were committing to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level, all while securing scholarships to help pave their way. It's a big deal, and we made sure it felt like one!
Our athletic director, Sandra Setter, took the time to recognize each student and their family, making everyone feel seen and appreciated. But the real highlight was hearing from the students themselves. Each student shared a piece of their journey. They talked about their sports, their struggles, their victories, and why they chose their respective colleges. It was personal and it really gave everyone a glimpse into the hearts of these young athletes. This day was more than a formality; it was a celebration of individual paths converging at a pivotal moment, all set against the backdrop of our supportive Eagan community. It was a good day.
