Join your neighbors for the annual New England Teen Summit! Library staff throughout New England are invited to this free, virtual event focused on teen services. Authors Cara Bean and Devorah Heitner will kick off sessions designed to help library staff reimagine teen programs, collections, and engagement. All sessions will be recorded and available for later viewing.

College Savings Summer Reading Sweepstakes Winners
Thank you to all libraries that participated in CollegeBound Saver's
Read, Renew Repeat College Savings Summer Reading Sweepstakes. On September 11, General Treasurer James Diossa presented checks to winners representing the East Providence, Greene, Jamestown and West Warwick public libraries. Winners received $529 for their college savings accounts and their libraries received $500 for future reading programs. The spreadsheet below includes the number of sweepstakes entries per library.

Don't have time to participate in the Kid Reading Across RI committee, but have a few favorite books to recommend? Use the form below to suggest up to three books for 2025 consideration. The form will be open through December 1 and you may submit as many forms as you like.

The RI Latino Books Award Committee is proud to announce the 2025 RI Latino Books Award Nominees, just in time for the start of Hispanic Heritage Month.
*Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th through October 15th.
