Summer School: Summer school enrollment is now open! Want to enroll? Stop by any of the offices to pick up a yellow Summer School Sign-Up Sheet.

Decision Day: Decision Day is where we celebrate our seniors who have made their final decisions on a post-secondary option. This year our Decision Day will be held on Friday, May 2nd during 6th and 7th hours. We will celebrate the seniors who have chosen to go to college, trade school, have a full-time job, or who are enlisting in the military. This is a fun event for students where we will have games, snacks, music, and prizes.

A+ Summer Tutoring: Students eligible and interested in completing their A+ tutoring this summer will be able to sign up in April. Sign ups will come out via email from Mrs. Ginger. Students will select their preferred building along with their availability. After signing up, students will need to attend a mandatory training meeting in May.

AP Test Dates: For those students who registered 1st semester to take Advanced Placement (AP) tests this Spring, tests will begin the first full week in May. AP test dates for Fort Osage students are as follows:

May 5, 2025 @ 8:00 AM: AP Biology

May 8, 2025 @ 8:00 AM: AP Statistics

May 9, 2025 @ 8:00 AM: US History

May 12, 2025 @ 12:00 PM: AP Music Theory

May 13, 2025 @ 8:00 AM: AP Pre-Calculus

May 14, 2025 @ 8:00 AM: AP English Language & Composition

May 15, 2025 @ 12:00 PM: AP Computer Science Principles

May 16, 2025 @ 8:00 AM: AP Physics

May 16, 2025 @ 12:00 PM: AP Psychology

EOC Test Dates: End of Course tests are coming up next month! If your student is taking Algebra, English 10, Biology or Government they are required to take an EOC as a graduation requirement. Please be sure your student is at school and ready to go on test day! If you have any questions about EOC testing, please contact Mrs. Sellars or Mrs. Brandmueller.

April 22-25: Seniors and Virtual Students EOC testing

April 30-May 1: Biology and Government EOC testing

May 5-8: Algebra 1&2 and English 2 EOC testing

NCAA/NAIA Clearinghouse: Athletes, please make sure you are in contact with your coaches and Mr. Duis regarding your NCAA/NAIA Clearinghouse status. In order to be eligible to play sports in college, you must go through the Clearinghouse. If you have any questions that your coach does not have the answer to, please see Mr. Duis in the Counseling Center!

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid): FAFSA is now open! Seniors who are furthering their education next year will want to file a FAFSA. Please note: Students who are planning on using their A+ are required to file. Completing your FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal grants, state grants, student loans, and work study. You can begin preparing now by creating an FSA ID for the student and one parent as well as collecting tax documents from 2023. For more information, refer to the College and Career Resources website under the “Financial Aid” tab.

ASHRAE Scholarship

Deadline: May 2, 2025

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers - Kansas City Chapter is offering a $500 scholarship to graduating seniors. The perfect candidate will be attending a university, college, or other program to pursue a career in HVAC or the AEC industry. Examples may include Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, etc. Students involved in PLTW classes and/or are interested in HVAC are preferred. The American Legion Scholarship Program

Deadline to Apply: April 20, 2025

The American Legion is offering several scholarships to Missouri students who are descendants of a veteran with at least ninety days active service in the US Military, who received an Honorable Discharge for such service. To find out more information about the individual scholarships and to fill out an application, visit www.missourilegion.org/scholarships.
