World Day of Bully Prevention
On Monday, October 7th, Boldt students and staff will wear blue in support of bully prevention month. We are celebrating this month and bringing awareness to the fact that kindness and empathy are character traits we want to instill at Boldt elementary so that all students feel, supported and cared for.
September Guidance Lessons
During the month of September, we focused our lessons on introducing ourselves and our roles as counselors. We also taught students they can be problem solvers with the help of Kelso's Choices. Students also learned how to use coping skills to deal with life's challenges and find positive ways to calm themselves and feel better when they are having big emotions.
Role of the School Counselor
Students learned about the role of the school counselor and how we will help them learn to manage their emotions.
School Safety
Lockdown at Superhero school is a very lighthearted book about being a safety hero and knowing what to do during lockdowns to stay safe. Students learned about school safety and ways they can calm themselves if they are having big feelings during a lockdown or any other time they need to calm their minds.
Kelso's Choices
Students learned there are nine ways to solve small problems. They also recognized big problems and when to get an adults help right away.
Pillar of Respect Awards
Congratulations to all the students who were recognized for their amazing character and showing respect. All of you are amazing role models for all Boldt Mavericks.
NISD Decision of Respect Signing Day
On October 4th, all Maverick students and staff will sign a Decision of Respect as a promise to always show respect to others as well as themselves!
Red Ribbon Week
