Coloma Junior High

As we approach the end of the semester, we would like to remind you that there are only five weeks remaining until the conclusion of the term. With the upcoming Thanksgiving break, this time will pass quickly. We encourage you to consider how you can support your child in staying on track as they prepare for their exams.

On December 19th and 20th, our students will participate in their final exams. For many, this will be their first experience with an exam process. Please note that not every class will have a cumulative final exam. Some classes may choose to utilize the exam period for a final unit test, project completion, or an exam that summarizes the material covered throughout the semester. You can support your child from home by ensuring that students are completing all of their assignments as well as their reviews and practice tests as they are issued.

Teachers will communicate semester end expectations to each of their classes as the end of the semester draws closer.

Just a reminder for our students that walk after school to be mindful of walking through the parking lots at the Junior High, High School and Intermediate during dismissal. We want to make sure that everyone is safe by sticking to the sidewalks and not walking between cars.

If you need to notify your child of their end of the day transportation, please contact the office no later than 2:00pm. The main office is a very busy place at the end of the day, this allows us time to ensure that your child receives the message.
