September is Library Card Sign-Up Month
A library card opens the door to a world of knowledge, and we encourage all students to obtain one! Carlsbad City Library representatives can assist students and parents in acquiring their library cards. With this card, a wealth of books, resources, and digital materials are at their fingertips. Show your library card or register for a new one at any of our three library locations during the month of September to earn a reward while supplies last.
Student ID Access for Carlsbad City Library eBooks and eAudiobooks
We're thrilled to announce that students can now access a curated selection of Carlsbad City Library's vast collection of eBooks and eAudiobooks via Sora, the OverDrive reading app. Your district selects filters to ensure students access age-appropriate Carlsbad City Library materials using their student ID, eliminating the need for a library card. Sora makes reading easier than ever, so encourage your students to explore literature. To set up Sora for your school, email Laura.Mendez@carlsbadca.gov.
