Message from Mrs. Williams
CCI Families,
📣 Attention 6th Grade Families!
Today, our 6th-grade students met with Mrs. Haylee Hoffman, our Home School Advisor, to learn about 7th-grade scheduling as they prepare to transition to FPJH! 🎓✏️
Students brought home a blue scheduling paper 📄 where they can indicate their class preferences for next year. Please take some time to review this form with your child and help them fill it out. 🏫
Important: The completed form is due back to school by Friday, January 31! 🗓️✅
Thank you for partnering with us to help make this transition a smooth one! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
📸Club and Sports Team Photos
Club and sports team photos will be taken on Wednesday, January 29. Parents can order photos at inter-state.com/order using code 91975HA. Students should bring any uniforms or team shirts needed for their photos. This is the list of groups that will be photographed that day: basketball, cheer, Jr. High Tennis, Jr. High Dance, Robotics, Cross Country, Spell Bowl, Math Bowl, Student Council, Band: Bring Instrument, Cedar Leaders, Jr. High Swim, Jr. High Golf, K-Kids, Ranger Archery, Jr. High Track, Ranger Wrestling, Football, Volleyball and Soccer. We will take a group photo of each group for the yearbook. We will also take individual photos of students for basketball, cheer, and band for those students who order.💗Valentine’s Day: A Sweet Treat for Our Staff!
This Valentine’s Day, let’s show some love to our amazing teachers and staff by giving them a duty-free lunch from 12:00-1:00 PM! To make this happen, we’re looking for volunteers to:
- Supervise lunch and recess so our staff can enjoy a well-deserved break.
- Bring in desserts to sweeten their day!
If you’re willing to help supervise or contribute a dessert, please sign up here.
Thank you for supporting our team – your kindness makes a big difference! ❤️
📣Junior Achievement Volunteers Needed!
We’re excited to bring Junior Achievement to our school for a one-day event, and we need your help to make it a success! Junior Achievement provides hands-on activities that inspire and prepare our students to succeed in the real world by teaching them about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness.
Volunteering is a one-day commitment, and no prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to make a difference in the lives of our students! If you're interested, please contact Kaitlyn Schrank, Regional Student Impact Manager at Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana.

6th Grade Field Trip Info
We are excited about the 6th grade field trip on Thursday, March 20th to Louisville. Students will experience Top Golf, The Kentucky Derby Museum, and an IMAX video (most likely in 3D). The 6th graders will need to bring a sack lunch, but the rest of the field trip for students is paid for by the PTO funds (mostly Walk-a-thon donations).
We would love to have you come as a parent chaperone. If you want to chaperone, please complete the Google Form. You will need to have a background check completed. (Background checks are good for 2 years.) The form is due in two weeks for parent chaperones on Friday, January 31st.
