Hi Families,

Somehow we are already midway through November! The PFO is continuing to work together on some amazing events and fundraisers for our school community (details below). However, we are looking for recommendations for any school enrichment opportunities the PFO could support. If you have any recommendations or requests for schoolwide events, activities, assemblies, after school enrichment opportunities, etc. please email them to PFOHarryDewey@gmail.com.

Happening Now:

WaterFly Car Wash Fundraiser - A brand new fundraiser for Dewey! Text “DEWEY” to 22323 to obtain the sign up link, add the name of your student(s) and teacher(s). WaterFly will donate 50% of all new membership dues (for the first 3 months) back to Dewey AND the top 4 classes with the most new memberships win prizes!

Upcoming Events:

Santa’s Night - Save the Date for Friday, December 13 for Santa’s Night. This year’s theme is ‘Winter Pajama Ball’. There will be a DJ and dance party in the multipurpose room, Kids Only Shoppe, crafts and a visit from Santa. Additionally, we will be collecting new pajamas to go back to children in need in our community. Be on the lookout for additional details soon.

Kids Only Shoppe - This fun addition to Santa’s Night is the largest group fundraiser for the 6th grade's class field trip to Westminster Woods. Donations are currently being accepted for new or barely used items that can be sold in the Shoppe. Best selling items include: home goods, toys, books, games and decor. Please no clothing or stuffed animals. Donation box outside the office.

This fountain is just one example of our fundraisers at work! We are so proud of the contributions that the PFO has been able to make over the years to enhance both our student and staff experience at Dewey.

When there is a need, PFO is there to help. From field trip funds to school events to classroom technology, the PFO looks forward to opportunities to make a difference.

Raise Right is a great way to fundraise all year long. This fundraiser offers gift cards for most retailers and pays the PFO a percentage of the gift cards purchased. Cards can be mailed home OR e-cards are available instantly. Use for everyday necessities or as gifts!
