As we close out another week, I am amazed at the daily progress and dedication I see across our schools. Week after week, the commitment each of you brings to creating an environment where our students feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn is remarkable.
It’s great to see teachers finding new ways to engage our students in the classrooms. From hands-on projects to thoughtful discussions, you are helping students build the skills and confidence they need for success. Your ability to meet students where they are and encourage them to reach higher is making an impact that can be felt throughout our district.
Beyond the classrooms, the dedication of our support staff, administrative teams, and community volunteers brings our schools to life. You’re the ones who keep our operations running smoothly and our facilities welcoming and safe. You make Bellevue a community that students look forward to being a part of every day, and your efforts are a key part of our district's success.
As we look forward to the rest of the quarter, let’s keep this momentum going. Once again, thank you for your hard work and dedication. I hope you all enjoy a restful weekend—you’ve more than earned it. Here’s to another outstanding week ahead!

KCC Visit
This is the second of three trips to discover futures opportunities and scheduling for his/her junior year. The three trips include manufacturing/ trades, traditional colleges, and the CACC. The CACC came on 11/6 to share possible programs. The students completed a survey about what programs that are interested in learning about during the CACC visit. In February, students can visit 3 of their interests. In the winter, there will be a 10th grade parent meeting. Students will get the chance to share the opportunities that interest them. After the parent meeting, students will submit a form declaring what path they would like to go starting their Junior year.
Great News!
Jr/Sr:
- We are starting two new initiatives:
- Check out the Attendance Initiative (BRONCO STAMPEDE)
- Our reality is that 37% of our students missed more than 18 days (10%) of school last year. We want to improve our attendance, which directly impacts academic and behavior success. We need your help, families! Let's start winning prizes in addition to improving attendance, behavior, and course proficiency!
- We are starting Student of the Week to acknowledge our students who are demonstrating attributes of the Circle of Courage (Belonging, Independence, Mastery, and Generosity). They continue to be rock star students, and we want them to know it. Check out our first group of students to be nominated (pictured).
