Logging in to Brightspace by D2L

The login to Brightspace is the same as your network login. The username and password that you access to DPCDSB Computers, DP Cloud and DP Google are all the same. When you click on the Brightspace by D2L link from a board device, you will be taken directly to the landing page (main page) of Brightspaceby D2L without a second login which is great for workflow.

If you are accessing from home, go to https://dpcdsb.elearningontario.ca and use your network credentials. (the username and password that you use to access board devices.

Please consider signing up for the online password reset tool below so that you never lose access to the network.

We are encouraging all staff to register for the new On-Line password reset tool so that you can quickly reset your password in case you have forgotten it.

In order to use this tool, you are required to register for the system. Please follow through with the on screen prompts in order to complete the registration process. You will require access to either an external email account (non Dufferin-Peel), or external phone (call or text) to complete the registration process.

If a student is unable to access the DP network at school, please have them consult with the school based designate assigned to reset network passwords.
