We Need your Help!

First of all, I want to apologize for not contacting you sooner. To be honest, I thought after I put out the word for the t-shirts and jeans on S'more and Facebook, they would be rolling in, that was not the case.

On January 21, 22, and 24th, LAMS will have a visiting artist. His name is Daniel Dancer. All LAMS staff and students will create sky art. Sky art is a picture we will make from our bodies. The fire department will be on hand with a drone to take pictures.

In order to make this work, all of our 7th grade students will need to wear a yellow shirt or coat. It is best if it is bright yellow so it will look good from above. All of the 8th graders will need to wear a red shirt or coat. Please send these in by January 16th. If you have extras to loan us, that would be terrific! If you don't own one, perhaps you could borrow from a friend. I believe Walmart or a craft store would have these inexpensively. We also need 150 pairs of blue jeans. If you send in jeans that you want returned, please put your child's name on the inside waist band. The shirts can go to your child's 2nd period teacher and the jeans can come to the office. Please spread the word. We have an amazing community and I am sure this will be very cool. You are welcome to come if you would like. We could use some extra hands to help organize the students that day too.
