Farewell to our 8th graders!
I wish ALL the best to our 8th graders as they venture to high school in the fall. I'm super proud of each one of them and look forward to hearing about all their successes. CONGRATULATIONS!

May Counseling Lesson Recap
It was awesome to hear what our students are thinking in terms of what they would like to do after school. Our future is BRIGHT with these kids leading the way!
SEL Tip of the Month
Friendship
With summer upon us, here is a great activity to do with your kids to teach them about friendship.
Plant flowers together and discuss how friendship is like a flower or plant. They take time to bloom and they need sunlight, soil, and water like a friendship needs time, trust, and kindness!
Parents...HERE is an article dedicated to helping your child(ren) with friendships.
Coming this Summer...
DoveTales is designed for children (ages 6-17) who are coping with the death of a loved one. DoveTales is an educational, nurturing, and safe place for children and families to share their stories and to meet others who “get it.” Children/Families will have the opportunity to learn effective and practical skills for coping with their grief. There is no cost for children/families to participate in this experience, courtesy of various private donations, as well as community grants. Registration is REQUIRED.
The full day camp event will begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 6:30 PM. Group activities include sharing stories, creating lots of crafts, playing games, enjoying outdoor and nature activities, and having fun! All meals are included. Parents/guardians are invited to attend a special family dinner at 5:00 PM-6:00 PM, and meet other families, learn about camp activities, and honor their loved ones.
All of the children who register for the program will receive a special care package including a DoveTales t-shirt, canvas bag, workbook, water bottle, and comfort items on the day of the event.
Register your child(ren) to attend DoveTales. Check HERE for 2025 Registration! Submit by June 13, 2025.
