Good Morning Homestead Families! I hope you were able to stay warm and safe during our Arctic Blast. Keep your eyes to the sky this week as we witness an out of this world event. This week seven planets will align in the night sky. Some only by telescope but most with the unassisted eye. Something like this is very rare and is a learning opportunity for our students. From what I have read the rings of Saturn should be on full display with a telescope. The wonder of space and other planets is something that has sparked imagination for over a thousand years. Have a great 3 day weekend as we celebrate MLK day on Monday. MLK was an outstanding example of integrity and determination. His stand for equality was world changing.
