Opening Comments
We are headed into our last full week of school before finals and the end of the second marking period. There is no time like the present to take advantage of our after school study hall as well as lunch time math help.
Thank you to our guidance department for hosting their FAFSA night last Wednesday. Families in attendance received valuable information about the cost of college and how FAFSA can assist. This week we look forward to a presentation by the Monmouth County Vocational School highlighting options and opportunities for our current 10th grade students.

No School - Monday 1/20 - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day
1 Session Days - Midterms - week of 1/21
Midterm Exams and the end of MP2.
Midterm exams start on 1/22. Please see the schedule below for your exam schedule. Remember that Midterms make up 10% or your final grade for the school year. Study Hard!
All absent students who are not in attendance for their exam will take the exam the first day back from the absence with their teacher from 12:30pm - 2:30pm.
Exam Days are one session days for students: 1/22 - 1/24
Monmouth County Sheriff's Office Visit
On Monday, the KHS psychology and KLEA classes got to experience a K9 Demo Lesson from Officer Izzy from the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office and his K9 partners, Reese and Fuze. They learned all about the various jobs they are called out to; from locating dangerous items to apprehending criminals! Very exciting learning experience for all involved! A big thank you to Officer Izzy and the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office.
