Note from Mr. Yardeny
Dear Mountain Vista Community,
As I prepare to retire after 26 years of teaching, the last eleven here at MVE, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support and trust you have shown during my time here. It has been a privilege to teach your children, to watch them grow, learn, play, and shine. Your encouragement, kind words, and the relationships I have built with many of you have made my career deeply rewarding. As I continue with my next chapter in life, I will always cherish these memories.
Thank you for being an amazing community.
Mr. Yardeny
Note from Mrs. Burns
As I step into retirement, I have done a lot of reflection. Opening Mountain Vista was a defining moment in my career. Watching this incredible community grow, evolve, and flourish has been nothing short of amazing. I have been fortunate enough to witness the dedication, hard work, and passion of students, staff, and families alike. It has been an honor to be a part of such a special place.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support, your trust, and for allowing me to be a part of this journey.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Ellen Burns

PTO Notes
Big Mammoth Thank you to Our PTO President Brittney Starcher!
The MVE PTO board and the entire MVE community would like to give a huge shoutout to Brittney Starcher for all her hard work and dedication to our PTO and school over the years. She's been amazing, organizing events, rallying support, raising money and making sure everything runs smoothly. Her efforts have made a real difference for the students, teachers, staff and the MVE community. We are so very grateful for everything she's done. Thank you, Brittany, for being awesome!
Do you want to help MVE raise money to help our students all year long?
If you want to do something very easy that can have a huge impact on our school, please designate Mountain Vista Elementary PTO for your Kroger/King Soopers rewards.
This year we made over $2,000 to help our students. We only have about 90 families signed up, and we would love to see that number double or triple for next year. The best thing is, it does not cost you anything. You are helping our kids by just shopping and using your Kroger/King Soopers rewards. My parents are in Arizona, and they have Mountain Vista Elementary PTO for their Fry’s rewards. So, anywhere in the US where Kroger is located (Dillions, Food 4 Less, Fry’s, Harris Teeter, Home Chef, Ralphs, Smith’s, etc) you can help MVE. What a great way for grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc to help your kids by just buying groceries!
