End of the School Year Newsletter
Dear Builta Families
- Ms. Wills planned a great school wide Field Day and students had a special treat of Andy's vanilla custard. Thank you to Ms. Wills, the parent volunteers and staff for making Field Day enjoyable and memorable.
- On Friday, the entire school came together for our End of the Year slideshow to see pictures from the wonderful events that occurred throughout this school year. We also waved our glow sticks and gave the 5th graders a big round of applause for their promotion on to middle school.
I hope that everyone has an awesome summer! We look forward to seeing Builta students and families back at school on August 19, 2025 for the 25-26 school year.
This Summer
This summer, construction will occur in Builta's front entryway and main office area to create a secure vestible.
- Secure vestibules are welcoming checkpoints in which guests enter the first lobby through the first set of locked doors.
- The second set of doors stays locked until the guest checks in with the office, providing proof of identification, such as a driver's license and reason for visit.
- Once those items are confirmed, the second set of doors opens, allowing visitors access to the office waiting area.
We are excited about receiving this building update.
Due to the entryway renovation, the school office will be physically closed for the month of June. However, you will still be able to contact the 12 month office staff via email and voicemail. We will follow back up with you.
- School Secretary: Mrs. Padilla marbella_padilla@ipsd.org or 630-226-4409
- Principal: Adrienne Morgan adrienne_morgan@ipsd.org or 630-226-4410
Summer Hours: During the summer months, office staff are available from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday-Thursday. The office is closed on Friday in the summer.
We hope that everyone has a wonderful summer with family and friends. We will see Builta students for the first day of the 2025-26 school year on August 19, 2025.
Warmly,
Ms. Morgan
